Configure Workspace

Workspace Selector

In the top-left corner of the dashboard you can see the currently selected workspace. Clicking on it opens a dropdown listing all your workspaces. From here you can switch to another workspace or create a new one.

Workspace Settings

Navigate to Settings in the left sidebar to configure your workspace.

General

Under the General tab you can:

  • Name — change the display name of the workspace
  • Description — add an optional description
  • Icon — select an icon for the workspace

Members

Under the Members tab you can add team members to the workspace.

Click Invite Member, enter the email address, assign a role, and send the invite. The invited user receives an email with an activation link.

Want to manage users centrally across multiple workspaces? See Create Team.

Roles

Under the Roles tab you can create custom roles and assign permissions.

Click New Role, give it a name (e.g., Developer, Viewer, Support), and select the permissions:

Permission Description
ViewDeployments View deployments and use them via API
ManageDeployments Create, start, stop, and delete deployments
ViewKnowledgeBases View Knowledge Bases
ManageKnowledgeBases Create Knowledge Bases and upload documents
ViewTraining View fine-tuning jobs
StartTraining Start fine-tuning jobs
ManageMcpTools Configure MCP servers
ViewRouting View routing configuration
ManageRouting Edit routing rules and workflows
ManageCache Configure Semantic Cache
UseChat Use the integrated chat interface
ManageMembers Invite members and assign roles

Save the role, then assign it when inviting members.

OpenWebUI

Under the OpenWebUI tab you can activate and configure the integrated chat interface for your workspace.

  • Activate OpenWebUI — enables the private OpenWebUI instance for this workspace
  • Web Search — allows the chat to search the web as part of responses
  • Save Chat History — persists chat history across sessions. Since the OpenWebUI instance automatically stops when no active deployment or agent is linked, enabling this ensures chat history is not lost
